PostForum: Misc - Installing AgoraCart   Posted: Wed Dec 12, 07 3:22 pm   Subject: module upgrades

Ah, I see. Well, that certainly explains why the files aren't being upgraded. Smile
PostForum: Misc - Installing AgoraCart   Posted: Wed Dec 12, 07 2:41 pm   Subject: module upgrades

Yes, all but one are 5.2. When you say that they're not available do you mean that they no longer exist and I should ignore all those update buttons on the Upgrade AgoraCart Modules page or that they ...
PostForum: Misc - Installing AgoraCart   Posted: Wed Dec 12, 07 1:45 pm   Subject: module upgrades

I'm having the same problem. Though it says the file was successfully updated, it actually wasn't (as evident by the unchanged modified date of the file), and the list of modules on the upgrade page s ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Wed Dec 12, 07 12:59 pm   Subject: Gateway goes to Step 2 even when shipping method not chosen

Thanks. I also had to add the line 'Ecom_ShipTo_Method', 'Shipping Method', in the appropriate place so that the error message would specify what was not filled in.

Where is the "You forgot to ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Wed Dec 12, 07 11:39 am   Subject: Gateway goes to Step 2 even when shipping method not chosen

Okay, now that my host has finally fixed things, I'll return to the issue I discovered while all the problems were going on.

I found out that if you fill out the form on Step One but do not select ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Mon Dec 10, 07 5:35 pm   Subject: Permission denied error going to Step Two

I did a refresh. It still shows it set at no. I changed it to yes again, hit submit, back it goes to no. The shipping charge is coming up on the totals page now, so it is actually set properly. It's j ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Mon Dec 10, 07 5:08 pm   Subject: Permission denied error going to Step Two

Well, I see what the problem is. "Display Shipping Label/Costs at View Cart and Checkout?" keeps resetting to "No" after I hit the Submit button, so I have to remember to change it ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Mon Dec 10, 07 5:02 pm   Subject: Permission denied error going to Step Two

Okay, now that is just plain weird. I did have that first question set to yes. I'm certain of it, and I didn't change it to no. Yet, I just looked, and it somehow got set to no [insert Twilight Zone m ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Mon Dec 10, 07 4:54 pm   Subject: Permission denied error going to Step Two

Yes, I know. I have "Shipping:" as the shipping label, but it's not showing up on totals the page.
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Mon Dec 10, 07 4:40 pm   Subject: Now, not showing shipping charge separately

Well, apparently, some time after my last call, iPower fixed the problem, but didn't bother contacting me to let me know. I found out this morning when I called them to tell them I was switching to an ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Wed Dec 05, 07 1:09 pm   Subject: Permission denied error going to Step Two

Here's an update on this problem, which is still not fixed. I learned that my host moved my site to an entirely new OS, going from a FreeBSD to a Debian Linux platform. They never bothered to mention ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Tue Nov 20, 07 10:35 am   Subject: Permission denied error going to Step Two

The host is iPower.com, and, yes, it was working before the move. They did say that if someone had trouble after the move, they'd do all they could to resolve it. I guess we're going to find out. Inte ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Mon Nov 19, 07 11:38 pm   Subject: Permission denied error going to Step Two

I just discovered something new that might change where this thread should have been put. If I do not select a shipping method, I don't get the error, and it goes on to Step Two. I get the error regar ...
PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Mon Nov 19, 07 10:19 pm   Subject: Permission denied error going to Step Two

Several days ago, my host moved my site to a new server. I discovered today that, in the process, the permissions on every single file and directory got changed to 750. Needless to say, I am not a hap ...

PostForum: PayPal v5.x   Posted: Tue Nov 13, 07 4:40 pm   Subject: "You forgot to fill in..." message

Okay, I'm asking again in the right spot. When I get the "You forgot to fill in..." messages, for the first and last name, it says "You forgot to fill in .", It's missing "fir ...
PostForum: Cart Display Manager   Posted: Tue Nov 13, 07 4:19 pm   Subject: Entering zip code only to see shipping quote

I forgot to mention that, in working on all this, I noticed something. When I get those "You forgot to fill in..." messages, for the first and last name, it says "You forgot to fill in ...
PostForum: Cart Display Manager   Posted: Tue Nov 13, 07 4:05 pm   Subject: Entering zip code only to see shipping quote

Nope, just zip for USPS now. They must have changed their system.

By the way, my Pro membership came through today, so it was a lot faster than 10 days. Smile Does this mean that I should post all m ...
PostForum: Cart Display Manager   Posted: Tue Nov 13, 07 9:44 am   Subject: Entering zip code only to see shipping quote

I have AgoraCart 5, and I'm using only USPS for a carrier. Since they only ask for zip codes on their own site to do a shipping calculation, that's apparently all they need, at least at this time.
PostForum: Shipping Settings Manager   Posted: Mon Nov 12, 07 11:36 pm   Subject: Separate shipping and handling charges

Is it possible in AgoraCart 5 to have the shipping and the handling fees appear separately in the order total?
PostForum: Cart Display Manager   Posted: Mon Nov 12, 07 7:45 pm   Subject: Entering zip code only to see shipping quote

I came up with a workaround. The shipping calculator still works if a person enters only their zip code, so I've included a statement that if they only want a shipping quote, all they need to do is en ...
PostForum: Cart Display Manager   Posted: Mon Nov 12, 07 9:38 am   Subject: Entering zip code only to see shipping quote

Well, having to fill out the entire address would be okay, if it's needed by the API. It's asking for the name and email address that I don't like. It would be much better if that was asked for after ...
PostForum: Cart Display Manager   Posted: Sun Nov 11, 07 10:21 pm   Subject: Entering zip code only to see shipping quote

There are some shipping calculators out there that allow the shopper just to enter their zip code to get a quote on the shipping, and I'd like to do something similar in my store, though I'd be satisf ...
PostForum: Shipping Settings Manager   Posted: Thu Nov 08, 07 7:15 pm   Subject: SBW shipping calculations incorrect

I decided to change my shipping method plans and stick to USPS Priority and Express Mail. It's cheaper, doesn't have all those surcharges added on, and I can easily print out postage-paid mailing labe ...
