Multiple Shoppers Problem

Post Multiple Shoppers Problem
I've just installed AgoraCart, and so far I like it. I've been able to configure it, load products and customize the interface in no time at all. And, with one exception, it has been operating nicely.
For some reason, it is not able to handle more than one shopper at a time. When a shopper enters the cart while another shopper is shopping, it does not start each shopper with an empty cart. Instead, all shoppers are sharing a single cart, which obviously will not work.
I've been reading the online manual, and will continue to search for a solution, but if someone can tell me what I've done wrong I would appreciate it.

If you are getting that kind of situation, then there is a heard coded cart_id somewhere. It's probably in the site's home page or on the front page of the store.
What is the URL to your site/store? We can help you track down where the hard coded cart_id is.
Whenever you link to the store you do not need to include the cart_id. If you are linking within the store thn you can use the following:
agora.cgi?cart_id=%%cart_id%%
Otherwise, just use something like:
http://www.mydomain.com/store/agora.cgi

HTH!

Post Cart ID Hardcoded
Right on Bonnie. You're right. CartID was hardcoded. I found the problem and fixed it.

*** Moderator edited post to remove cart_id from store URL.
Please do not post cart_id when posting your store URL. ***

Yours is right on the home page of your site...
That's the first place to look because it is usually a page that is outside the cart that people will use to enter the store...
