Post Products pics, getting paid, actual website
I am new to this so please bear with me.

**Some of my pics are not showing up. The description is but not the product picture?
**Once everything is downloaded, how do I link my products to my actual website page?
**OK assuming that number 1 and 2 are done, how do I get paid for the products that my customers buy? Am I suppose to fill out a form that has my checking account number on it so that the money is automatically deposited into my account? HELP Question

What is the URL to your store?

With pictures, the image file name needs to be exactly like the file name that was uploaded, they are case sensitive.
You would basically put a link on your other web pages to the store so the customers can view your products and add them to their shopping cart.

Nothing get automatically deposited to your bank account unless you have a merchant account with a credit card processor.
What payments do you accept?

Hi
My url (not sure what that is) but I believe you mean my web address. It is. cctreasures.net Is that what you are speaking of?

So, I will not be able to take credit cards? I accept all major credit cards, Visa, MC, Discover and Am. Express.

My web hosting company is ipower. So you are saying that I have to put a link there and link it to Agora Cart? How do I do that? I am lost.

Cheryle,
Do you already have a merchant account? How do you accept credit cards?
Who is the processor?

I have found your store at:
http://cctreasures.net/cgi-bin/Agora/agora.cgi

You will need to change the Store URL in the manager because you MUST have the www. at the begining of the URL, like this:
http://www.cctreasures.net/cgi-bin/Agora/agora.cgi

For the Secure and SSL URL fields in the manager you will need to use:
http://host453.ipowerweb.com/~youusername/cgi-bin/Agora/agora.cgi

These areas are found in the:
manager -> Program Settings -> Main AgoraCart Store Settings
AND
manager -> Payment Gateway

On the pages of your site you can create a link to go to the store using the above Store URL.

HTH!

Post me again
Hi Bonnie

Yes I had a merchant account through yahoo sitebuilder. Don't know if it is still active since I cancelled that account. What do you suggest I do regarding taking payments?

OK I changed it to the www.cctreasures.net.

Also what is the HTML and PERL? What do I do with these? I am so lost.

Thanks
Cheryle

Cheryle,
You'll want to first find out if you had a "real" merchant account through Yahoo. If it is, you need to find out how you can use it.
If you can't, you will need to find a "real" merchant account.
There are some supported gateways listed on this site that work with AgoraCart to do real-time processing. Just follow the "Supported Gateways" link.
You can also use the Offline gateway which collects the customer info for processing the payment "off-line".

HTML & PERL are sample products in the database. You can leave these in there for testing the cart and getting yourself familiar with how Agora works and how things should look.
You can, then, delete them.

HTH!
