Post Items NOT for sale
Hi all,

My client asks me a question that stumps me (for now) and I know that if there is an answer I find it here!

The store is here: http://www.countrybooknook.com/store/agora.cgi and there are many items for sale. It's a second hand (education) bookstore. My client used DBWizz and is very happy with both product (Agora and DBWizz)

Upon closed look she has one category called SOLD with various (500+) items. The store owner wants to have that category so potential consigners have an idea which are the items that are in demand. Problem is that there are customers that do not read carefully and like to buy the item again. Since it is one of the categories this is electronically possible, giving the store owner extra work to deal with the potential buyers: to tell them that the merchandise is not there etc....

Question. Can we make it so that the items do not show the "ADD To CART" button? Or is there any other idea that you might have that I may work on?

Thanks a bunch!

Michel

Michel,
Yes that can be done there are details hacks posted in the pro members forum.
So, If you're a pro member just do a search in the pro forum for "Sold out" and it will return some links that will help.

HTH!

Thanks,

I will see if my client is willing to pay for the pro services (initially they did not want to pay for teh DBWizz and now they love it!) and take it from there.
