Post how do I put the cart inside my layout/table?
I am trying to setup a custom page for my layout, I understand how to edit the header and footer but where does the main content come from what file?
I have read every post in this forum in the past 4 days and found it vague.

Where is the code for the cart I want to put it in a table and manipulate it but the pages I found were of incomplete html and I am not sure how to piece the main page together.

I am very familiar with html, css, some perl so I can do it but my brain is stuck!

I hope this makes sense thanks in advance.

Product display pages are made up of 3 files:
1. header
2. footer
3. productpage.inc

The store's front page and other pages found in the 'html', 'html/pages' that you use are also comprised of 3 files;
1. the actual .html file that you are using
2. header
3. footer
In these .html files, you will see 'tokens' that look like:
%%StoreHeader%% & %%StoreFooter%%
These tokens get replaced with the info in the header & footer files.

HTH!

Great thanks but, the part that has me stumped is the dynamic cart layout I get the cart to dipsply fine with the header and the footer but I have no control over it (the cart)I want to incorporate it in to a table for control.

What file is the end result of the header - body and footer, what it the file that generate this called?

THe body is my problen finding how to fit it into the header and footer AHHHHHHHHH I give up.

LOL
Thanks

The dynamic pages are just that, dynamic pages, comprised of 3 files.
As I said before, for the product display:
Product display pages are made up of 3 files:
1. header
2. footer
3. productPage.inc
All of these files are found in the 'html/html-templates' directory.

HTH!

Thanks but one more thing, all 3 pages seem incomplete where is the <html> generated from and should I worry about that, because everthing I do is just not cutting it.

This has to be something super simple but for some reason I don't get it.

Doesn't seem to be a start or an end to the html in any of these files.

I am now starting from scratch and I got the intro page to display like I want but when I choose a cart link, that is what I can't control no matter what I do I can't control the position of the table is the tag in the *.inc page?
Thanks.

Thanks for being patient.

The 3 files create the dynamic page. There is some html that gets added from the core files as it request is processed through AgoraCart.
You just put the 3 files together, in a way...
Don't worry about the <html></html> tags they are generated from the core files.
However, the .html files are not so much like that. (Files found in the 'html', 'html/pages', & 'html/forms' directories.)

HTH!
