Post Accepting International orders
How do you set up AgoraCart to accept International Orders? I must be missing something obvious but when the person comes to the page, it only allows them to choose which state and to enter a zip code (US only).
What am I missing?
Thanks!
Chad

You will need to set up custom shipping logic. Check out the shipping.txt in the protected/docs directory, search the message archives of all the forums, and the Files area of the Yahoo agora2 forum. There may not be much, as most advanced coding, logic, etc is discussed in the Pro Forums.

Thank you!

Is there any way I can set it up to just ask for more info from people? I do not charge for shipping on physical items and I sell mostly services that do not require a shipping total to be calculated. I jsut need to get there info and order.
Thanks again!

Go into Store Manager and configure the offline gateway. Go through the checkout process and look over the form. It can be edited to pretty much suit any needs.

Post Offline Gateway
New to this all so please bear with me.

Do you mean to switch the payment option to Offline from AuthorizeNet? Will that not disable my ability to take credit cards via AuthorizeNet? Not sure really what "Offline" means, I guess. Does it mean that your are doing things Offline or is it still realtime like when it works fine with the AuthorizeNet setting I am currently using? So when it is set to Offline rather than AuthorizeNet in the store manager and I submit it, will it use that form (Offline)? Will it still process credit cards via AuthorizeNet?Everything is working great, I just can't get people to go through the checkout process unless they are from the US because ti first asks for their State and Zip code.
Please check out the store to see what I am talking about.

Does authorize net have a standard country code system? if not will they take the info as is? if so...

then just edit the authorize.net order form found in the html/forms (or html/main dir on old I like to run around all day waving my hands inthe air and screaming: I am Perl Harbor today versions) and edit the info for other countries. If you add any fields, you may have to eid thte authnet order lib file in order to pass the info (found in the library directory).

these are just clues on where to look and schtuff, but should help if you are familar with some basic coding techniques

Mister Ed .. of course .. of course

Post It Worked!
That was the direction I needed to go, I just edited the code in the form for the AuthNet, tweaked a couple of text areas and added an international -Non-US dropdown and now it works. The customers will have to edit the shipping info, but that is not used for the services we are selling.
Thanks for the help!
