Post custom shipping logic doesn't work
I'm trying to set up a 10% shipping charge across the board for all
products. I selected "3" for the "loop of calculate_final_values"
option and clicked "yes" for use custom shipping logic and "no" for
ship by weight and changed all the default custom shipping logic
codes to 10%, i.e.,

@sc_shipping_logic = ( "|1-29.99|||10.0%",
"|30-59.99|||10.0%",
"|60-89.99|||10.0%",
"|90-119.99|||10.0%",
"|120-|||10.0%");
#
$shipping_price = &calculate_shipping($temp_total,
$total_quantity, $total_measured_quantity);

This all seems pretty straightforward, but unfortunately, zero ($0)
dollars is added to all products for shipping! What gives?

Take a look at the shipping.txt file in the protected/docs directory. It has an example that is much simpler than what you are doing.

I'm curious, do folks look at a statement like "what gives?" and think anything of it? i usually take it as a bad thang that comes across in a demanding tone. but just curious if it was jsut me that views it as abrasive.

Hi ME,

Yeah... I take it as abrasive too. Interpret it as "Hey dummies answer my question". :lol: It seems I only see demanding and abrasive phrasing in the free forums. At least I don't recall seeing any in the Pro Forums.

hell-o
well, in this case is sounds more like desperation to me. if he said "it all seems striaght forward why doesn't your code work?! what gives?!" then i think i'd have to spank him. LOL j/k
as for the answer, no time now. if someone doesn't give ya a hand then ask again and i'll see if i can fix it for ya.
seems kinda straight forward...sorry, couldn't resist :-)
did you set your shipping option to 3?

regards,
dan
