Using CSS stylesheets to customize layout

Post Using CSS stylesheets to customize layout
Hello everyone! I've been reading about Agoracart design but I'm kinda stuck designing my website. It is a simple store to sell photographs.

I have already designed a basic home page for the site using HTML, CSS and Dreamweaver, check it out at www.gottschoprints.com for reference

As you can see, I want a simple design. Black background with a header on top, horizontal menu just below that. Then I want a white box 800 pixels wide split up into two columns (200 and 600). I already have the style sheets coded for this. Footer beneath this. I have already succeeded in customizing the header.inc and footer.inc files. You can see the progress I have made in this regard: www.gottschoprints.com/store/

To sell pics, I will set up a thumbnail gallery (I am debating whether I should make the thumbnail gallery a static HTML page or use a dynamic script, but I would prefer not to use the agoracart store at this point). Once the user clicks on a thumbnail, I want them to be transferred to an Item View page in the store where they choose the size and add it to the cart. I also want this page to display a larger version of the photo, 600 pixels wide, with all the options and info beneath that.

So my question is, how do I use my existing CSS stylesheet to modify the item view, cart view, and checkout pages so that they match my existing layout at gottschoprints.com? I imagine it must be one of those .inc files but they look rather daunting when I open them. I just want that white table formatted like the rest of my site.

Thanks a lot guys!!! Razz

If using v4, please review the following threads on the placement of CSS, javascript, & meta tags:

If using v5, there is a place in the "Store Design - CSS Editor" for the placement of a link to a CSS stylesheet, javascript and meta tags.

As far as a gallery to choose from, you can do that dynamically in AgoraCart using the productPage-4a.inc file for the layout that can link to a "details" page to select size and add to the cart and it will all be run by the AgoraCart database. No need to have a double database or hard-code everything. Much easier to maintain...
To see basically what I am talking about, take a look at my Candle Supply store at:

HTH!

Thanks for the tips!

I have installed my CSS stylesheets. There are still some quirks in the layout that I'm trying to work out, but I think I will make a seperate thread for that...
