Multiple Identical entries in the View New Orders

I've noticed that when I view new orders, I normally get between 1-5 copies of a single order showing up in the database. They all have the same order number so it is easy to see which are repeats. But, going through 100 orders to discover only 30-40 "Real" orders is a challenge. Any ideas?

What version of the cart are you using?
Which gateway, (including version number)?
Finally, what is the URL to your store?

are they same customer number and invoice number? is it consistently the same number of orders? is it the same merchandise and QTY?

if not, the gateway might be troublesome for folks and it's also reporting back to cart when it's an error, so it gets logged but not completed... highly unlikely but who knows at this point. If LinkPoint has changed their gateway again, this could be a problem, but i do not have a way to test this, so i'd need to see what yer getting back results wise.

You might want to put your linkpoint account on test mode (if it has one at their end - not the cart side) and see if you can duplicate such behavior.
