Post problem with paypal gateway
Hi,

Using version 5 with paypal as default and sole payment gateway which I think I have set up correctly. When clicking on the complete order button I am directed to the first stage checkout page which lets me enter my shipping info. When, finally I click on the click here to continue button I'm just led back to that same page (no error msg, nothing, just the same page with the paypal checkout form filled with the information I fed it moments before).
Before that, I had set up the cart to use two gateways (offline and paypal) and I when I submitted my shipping info on the paypal page and clicked the please click... button I was led back to the gateway choice page (conboorderform.html or somethin). I reverted back to one gaterway but that hasn't solved anything.

Am i missing something?

I have a paypal sandbox account that I have already used before for other websites. but it's the first time i'm dealling with agoracart.

mmmh... ok. I'll see if I can get something online. I'll keep you posted, if you don't mind.

well, after installing the cart on my online server I noticed a note on the cart manager main page:

August 15, 2007: Gateway Changes: Changes made to accomodate up and coming features. Order forms used prior to Aug 15 2007 will now fail unless this line is added below the <h2>CART CONTENTS HERE</h2>:
</form><form method="post" action="agora.cgi"> . If you do not add it after performing the latest updates, your payment processing will most likely fail if using a default order form for your processing gateway.

so I want back to my local site, modified the paypal-orderform.html accordingly and, bingo! I can get to checkout step 2

Henri,
Most of us only develop online. There are problems developing locally and you just found one of them... You miss the notices...

yes i know. but this was just me not paying attention: the notice appears on my offline store manager's front page as well. So, online, offline, don't really matter, since, apparently, the notices are still updated.
anyhow, it's just a pain in the arse to have to ftp files all the time. Developping offline is faster.
