Post Totally confused
Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?

I don't want categories, but I do want links to several different pages.

I have changed my main page to do what I want and it (correctly) shows the links to my other pages.

BUT - when I click "Add to Cart", it takes me to a different page that I thought I had deleted and which still has all the (old) category listings.

Also, how can I edit my new pages? They don't show up in the Store Manager and if I edit them outside of AgoraCart, the links don't work.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

What is the URL to your store?
Also, can you please detail what it is you are trying to do and why?

Hi scottcrew,

Thank you for your offer of help.

Since my first post, I have deleted all the unwanted files and categories, but it still doesn't work correctly.

What happens is this:

When I open my default URL http://www.copperenamelshapes.com/store5/agora.cgi
I get an old page that I thought I had deleted. It also shows two categories that I also deleted.

If I now click on the "Art" category (that should no longer exist), I get
"I'm sorry, no matches were found. Please try your search again", but it now shows my new category "Shop1" in the categories box.

If I now click on Shop1 in Categories, I get my wanted, but as yet only partially constructed page, which appears to work correctly.

How do I get rid of these unwanted pages and make my new "Shop1" page my default page?
I shall eventually want to display 18 separate pages in my store, but I deduce, from what I have learned so far, that my other pages will need to be listed as Categories, and not as linked pages in the top menu, as I have tried to do at present. Am I right here?

Many thanks.

Mike W

Mike,
It looks like you hardcoded that info into the index.html file in the 'html' directory of the store.
The entire page is hardcoded, there is no agorascript-pre stuff on there... Let alone any tokens...
Without the %%StoreHeader%% & %%StoreFooter%% tokens, the dynamic content of the store's header & footer cannot show up.
The following needs to be replaced by the %%head_info%% token, in the index.html file:
Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="agorastyles.css" media="screen">
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="html/html-templates/templates/TheAgora/TheAgora_BluGreen/agoratemplate.css" media="screen">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

HTH!

Thanks Bonnie, that was the problem.

I had been too liberal with my edits.
