character limit & credit card name

Post character limit & credit card name 
Can anyone help with these two -

1. I can't even fit my own email address into the checkout box which asks for "email". How do you extend the character limit?

2. I need to have the credit card holders name but how do you put in a new form field without mucking things up?

The card holder's name is supposed to be the same as the billing address info.
Therefore, another field for the cardholder name is not necessary.

You can change the field maxlength by editing the order form...

the name as it appears on the card is often not exactly the same as the billing contact. E.G. William. J. Groves may put his billing name down as W. Groves. Can i not add another field.?

The Name on their credit card is what they *should* be putting in the billing contact info.
You can put a note to that effect on the order form...
