Post adding CSS positioning to product/ cart/ search pages
hello,

i've got the jest of customizing the layout of agoracart. having trouble with one thing though,

i can't seem to get the the product display info in the right place on my site.

i'd like to add CSS positioning to all product listing generated.

please pick an item for an example, after this page.

http://whirledpieces.com/store52/

Thanks!

Ken,
Are you using an editor that automatically completes tags and auto replaces characters?
If so, you will need to turn those things off, if possible, so that I am not seeing the following in your header file:
Code:
<DIV id="main_content">

</DIV>

I think that you did not want to close that div tag and wanted your product info to be displayed within that div....
The closing div tag would need to be placed in the footer file.

I am, also, seeing and extra set of </body></html> tags which are probably in your footer file...

Working with div and positioning is probably a bit more difficult than using tables... Not to mention that not all browsers render the css the same... Also, I see you are trying to use height attributes, but again, not all browsers recognize those, especially a few of the mainline browsers...

HTH!

hello!

thanks for the quick reply.

i am not using a editor of sorts. just using a text editor, and going through it.

i took out the <DIV id="main_content"></DIV> on the store_header.html and didn't see a difference.

i think you can see where i want the content to go, but don't know how to get it there.

i have edited agoratempate.css to inlude the id "main_content"

puzzeld...=/

Your store's home page isn't set up properly...

I noticed that the javascript is missing on the rest of the pages, whereas, you have it on the store home page. The javascript goes in a special box in the Primary/Core Settings manager...

You need to put the <DIV id="main_content"> back at the very bottom of the header file...
and add a </DIV> to the top of your footer file...
