Is it possible to list an item in more than one category? How can this be done?

Simply list the item in as many categories as you wish. Agora does not really know what the item is. You could put the same item in each category if you wish. The only real negative would be that if a customer does a seach, the product would be displayed multiple times.

Aye....and thars the rub......

It also makes it pain if you have to edit the product for any reason, having to remember all of the categories you put it in. If you miss editing one of the duplicate products you can run into real problems with your customers.

It should not be hard to keep up with multiple items. Just do a seach and you get a neat little list.

i haven't looked into this but...
it seems to me there will be issues with the product id as well if there is any importance to the value.
you could hack the search function and use a userfield similar to sub cats.
