Is it possible for the cart to load as a agora.cgi?product=XXX instead of having it load the index.html page?

I have all my links pointing to agora.cgi?product=XXX instead of just agora.cgi, but the first time you go there, it always loads the default page.

yep. you have one category and the only link to your store is to that category.
i followed the link from your static page and found your product page with no problem. minor error in that link. you might want to change

http://luckylab.lunarpages.com/shoppingcart/agora.cgi?product=All&xm=on&cart_id=

to

http://luckylab.lunarpages.com/shoppingcart/agora.cgi?product=All&xm=on

no cart id switch necessary when linking from a static page.

actually, i think you got the static page link into your stor and the store header link to the category mixed up.

change the store header link to:

http://luckylab.lunarpages.com/shoppingcart/agora.cgi?product=All&xm=on&cart_id=

and the links in the static pages to:

http://luckylab.lunarpages.com/shoppingcart/agora.cgi?product=All

other than that etremely minor excersize i seen no reason why agora would revert to the storefront.

one thing. you may want to review my posts on proper placement of css and java script in the head tag for dB content pages.

just do a search in this forum for "css" w/o quotes and you'll find them.

oh btw to answer your question. if a link directly to you category results in agora defaulting to the storefront then i wouldn't do a redirect! you may cause an endless loop then you're hosed.we need to find the problem and fix it.

Looks like it's still happening, not sure why. It seems to randomly go to agora.cgi rather than agora.cgi?product=All. Very strange.

please review and apply the proper techniques for adding css and java script to your dB parsed pages. it's possible the the stuff that belongs in the head tag maybe confusing your browser. further, when done correctly we can elimiante that as a possiblilty. otherwise, we will be using assumptions and possibly chasing our tail.

with only one category there should be no errors like this. what is involved here is the header, footer, ppinc and the data from the dB. look at the relationship between the header and footer. make sure your tables are balaced. get the stuff into the head tag where it belongs. if you customized the ppinc beyond adding the head tag stuff then we can look at that after the rest is corrected and confirmed.
