Yikes, what'd I do to the page layout?

Post Yikes, what'd I do to the page layout?
So on the product display page I wanted the tables wider than 550 (just let them go to whatever width the users browser/screen res. is set to). So I found the offending width statement in the admin/agora_user_lib.pl file, removed it. I get the product display wider, but I lost the graphics (the product image and the add to cart button). Thoughts appreciated on a correction/fix. TY

Ahhh, so I wiped out my program settings. I reset them and will be more careful with that admin/agora_user_lib.pl file going forward.

nearly everything in the admin directory can be changed in the manager screen. best to get familiar with manager before editing core files.

any .pl file in the admin_files directory of your store is written to by a store manager. They can be edited and set using your online management functions.

Mister Ed has indicated that more sweeping changes are being developed for the next major version of the cart. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with. 4.0K was a substantial step forward for the online management functions of AgoraCart.

there are table definitions and cell definitions that have to be edited manually in this directory if needs be. most other things should be edited through the manager to avoid errors.
wonder if they will be included in the new manager configs.

dan

Hi Dan,

all those items are editable in the managers. However, a few process were left out and it proves troublesome in some respects. ME reports that the next version will take care of many of those issues.

yep ME reports that ...lol

anyway, Bubba is right, those user files are all controlled via store management areas. Got some cool enhancements coming as well
