I can not login to the store manager, here's what i've done:

1) Install Agora using cPanel
2) Set user/pass
3) Follow link to www.website.co.uk/cart/protected/manager.cgi
4) tried user/pass as set during cPanel install
5) tried manager/admin login
6) deleted .htaccess from /protected dir (as suggested in another topic)
7) tried both 4 & 5 again

Now i have a .htaccess warning on the login page, but still can't login - it just keeps directing me back to the same login page.
Cookies are on.

What to do?

The default user/pass for the manager, itself, is manager/admin. The .htacces is what you set up from the cpanel, but not the manager.

i believe this is a hosting issue. the cpanel install should work. if not it's hosting.
when i attempt to go to your storefront i get redirected back to your home page. when i attempt to go to the store manager the same thing happens.
this is not a resut of anything related to agoracart nor it's ability to install. your server , i bet is set up in paraniod mode.
you'll have to contact your hosting support. if they can't or wont help ya i'll host ya. tell em that if they get pushy or ignore you. Wink

thats was just an example - i didnt realise there was a real site: website.com !!

Check out the info in the protected/misc/mgr_pass.pl file. This should help you find out what the user/pass is for you.

I already did that - it is set to the user/pass i setup during the cpanel install.

Ahhh wait!
I just checked this file again as i am typing this post. The username has a space as the first character IE: " username"
Damn these fat fingers! Embarassed ..must have been me mistyping.
