where is the manufacturer inputfield in the storemanager?

Post where is the manufacturer inputfield in the storemanager? 
I SEE THIS ISSUE ON THE ONLINE MANUAL
i have to figure this out how it works with products options

- i have to add the manufacturers name for a product if i want do a search for a manufacturer
( i don't see at glance in teh default Storemanager configuration how to chance the layout for a produkt add=> strange? you should aspect at least teh name of a produkt and a teh name ( where is inputfield)manufacturer who has made this product

You have to use a user field for that... That's the kinds of things that those extra userfields are for...

No, it is for creation of product options, like sizes, colors, etc...

Also a topic to study: at the moment i do have all default options on a row (9 of them) on my shop to determine what they are

Look at bodystyling on my productsgrouppage ( via introscreen: jumpmenu)

So with this downloadable optioneditor i can make new options?
The question is: is there a new useful option to make for the autoparts wuith this editor or are the default options sufficient?

oke, but how do those new production options files look like?=> or different stated: what is the result of them : graphical on the productpage?

They create a drop down menu for the customer to select either a size, color, etc. for a particular product.

hell-o
you can use the simple options editor to create the simple options. then you can add other stuff like pics and colors. once you manually edit an option file created with the editor you cannot use the editor to edit that option again.
