SQL Databases

Post SQL Databases
I am working with a small pet store to update an aging website. We currently use Com-cart which requires us to enter all of our information into templates, which will then produce our current web page. What we would like to do is use our existing Quicksell Point Of Sale SQL Database to feed our Online database. Is this possible with this program?

This SQL database is used for in-store operations, and stores all vital information about all products in the store. We have been informed that it would be possible to use this information to populate our web page, rather than having to reproduce it manually. Can an existing SQL Database be converted into a MYSQL database? I wasn't sure if we were misinformed, or if Agora would be able to process this for us. Thanks in advance for the help.

If there is already a link concerning this issue, I apologize, we are having browser issues with Agora's site.

the current versions of agoracart are flatfile plain text pipe delimited dB. if you can export to plain text pipe, tab or csv then you can import to agoracart. you'll have to manipulate the fields in the rows to satisfy agoracart's structure. there will be some other things you'll need to add such as tokens for images and you'll have to be careful about meta characters.
there is a mysql version of agoracart on the horizion. release date unknown but should be within a few months. this version wont be free...members only.
regards,
dan
