Post Sub-Categories
Well, it's been a week and I still can't get log in to get my PayPal plug-in, but I thought that at one point I saw a add-on that allowed you to create sub-categories. This client of mine has over 3000 products, so there will definitely have to be more than just a single layer of categories. Is this in the new version of the software? The Store Manager version shows 4.0K-4B standard. I'll need to at LEAST be able to go about 3 sub-categories deep within a category. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Also, I guess what I'm curious about is the following paragraph here: http://www.agoracart.com/help/adding.html#user which states that you can create subcategories using the User Fields at the bottom of the "Product Add" area. Besides the lengthy very crude way of doing it via the AgoraSupport guide with drop down boxes, etc. How can you use the User fields like it says you can do?

The new subcategories code snippet, available to pro members, employs the use of the userfields to define the subcategory...

Other than that code you would need to hard code all of the product category & subcategory links...
When you would call a subcategory, it would be something like:
"agora.cgi?user4=subcat"

HTH!
