Post Order of Products 
I tried editing the data.file database with no success. I need a specific product to appear first on the product page. How can you control how the order of products is displayed? It seems like it follows the order that the products were added -- the product number does not seem to have an affect on the list order. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

the order is generally sorted by product id in desending order. so if you assign any product in a category with a number smaller than the rest of the products in the category then that product will be displayed first.

OK, I just want to make sure here. I can change the product id number and whatever the product I want will come first on product page if the number is smaller than other products...am I right so far? That wont affect the database unless the products that show up first is when the numbers is the smallest.

Yes, you can change the product ID number for a product.
The smaller the number products show up first in the display.
