Hello all!

I just downloaded AgoraCart and installed it. Worked perfectly! Easy install.

I have installed AC in the CGI BIN. The rest of the site is in the root folder.

I have a few questions:

First: This is an existing web site with all content already online up and running for several years. They now wish to add a formal cart for purchasing rather than using an email order form. They do not want to pay (at least for now) for a whole new website designed around the cart... even using templates derived from the current site.

I have read about creating templates, header and footer files, but what I would REALLY like to do, for simplicity sake, is to simply keep all the web content where it is now (in the root) and create button links to the cart from the existing pages outside the CGI bin. (I have read, I think, all the documentation, but cannot find this covered anywhere.)

Then, what I will ideally have is the existing product description in the existing web pages where I will just add the 'ADD TO CART' buttons plus the links to 'View Cart' and 'Checkout' which will 'call' the cart routines from the CGI BIN.

So what I need to know is: A. Can this be done? and B. Where do I get the link URLs for these three buttons? I can see the View Cart and Checkout links, but I am not sure if they are fixed or variable with each transaction or page view. The Add to Cart URL is is not shown.

An looksy at the coding for the page indicates that the tags <!--BEGIN SELECT QUANTITY BUTTON--> and <!--END SELECT QUANTITY BUTTON--> are used for the Add to Cart, and I am not sure these will work outside the Store directory or can be made to work outside the directory. Can they? If so, how?

Last (and probably dumb) question... I cannot see how to turn off the product images completely. If I leave the image name blank, the default kicks in. If I turn OFF self serve images, it just looks for them elsewhere. This customer's products do not have graphic images, so I just want the area blank within the store. Description only.
