Empty cart at 2CO

Post Empty cart at 2CO
Yes, the same problem everyone else is having. I've read the sticky and a number of the more recent posts on this problem. Trouble is, at 2CO I don't see anything that resembles the directions in the sticky.

In Agoracart (v-deck installment) I think I've set everything up ok; I've taken agoracart out of demo mode and I've put in the URL that 2CO specifies.

Now - the sticky says:
Quote:
ATTN: Be sure to turn off the "Demo Mode" setting. Most people think that only applies if they are using the 2checkout cart. Go to 2checkout.com and login. Go to the Account Details>Sales Details. Sales Parameters is the top item on the page. The fourth item from top "Put Shopping Cart Routine in Demo Mode?: ". Set to "No" to go live.

NOTHING I see on the 2CO Account Homepage (https://www2.2checkout.com/2co/admin/vendorhome?oid=number removed) looks like this. Could they have changed the page in the last month? Now it looks like this:

Quote:
Account Homepage
You have 0 Open Issues that must be resolved.
You have 0 Open Issues that WILL result in a refund.

Welcome to your sellers configuration area!

First time here, be sure to look at the following.
No matter what you want to sell, start by setting up your...

1. Bank Account & Payment Details.
2. Additional Site Information.
3. Vendor Contact Information
4. Set Up Products.
5. Shipping Methods or e-good allowable countries..
6. Business Contact Information.
7. Setting Up Your Site.

I've been to all the above links, including 7. Setting up your site/Site Configuration and the links therein if you are using a different shopping cart, and the only reference to "DEMO" does not allow any configuration at all. (It actually looks like the DEMO ON is determined by the URL passed to 2CO from Agoracart.)

Is there anything that anyone sees immediately that I've done wrong or not done?

Many thanks.

Post Clarification
2CO showed the cart was empty when I had put my actual user*name* in the agoracart store manager 2CO settings. When I put my user*number* (six digits) instead, I get a cart at 2CO, but the total is $0.00.

I just went to 2Checkout and everything is the same as it has been for some time. Maybe the following step by step will help you.

1)Go to the Account Details (Top of page menu)
2) Go to Sales Details
3)Sales Parameters is the top section on the page. The fourth item from top "Put Shopping Cart Routine in Demo Mode?: ". Set to "No" to go live.

Post 2co
THanks, but we are apparently seeing two different login pages. When I signed up yesterday, the page I was eventually led to to log in at is https://www2.2checkout.com . Is this the page you are going to to login from? If it isn't, and you click on login and try to sign in, does it accept your username/password?

I just went to https://www.2checkout.com and clicked on the login button. It does not accept my username or password.

One explanation is that later signups are getting a different login page and being led to a different front page after logging in.

Here is the note that I got this morning in response to a ticket at 2CO. Does this provide any clues?

There's no setting in the admin panel for demo mode. This would be something
that is passed by the forms on your site. If you could provide me with a link
to test this, we could tell you if you're setting demo mode or not.

More information about demo mode is available in our Knowledge Base:

I hope that I have addressed all of your concerns, but please feel free to
re-open this ticket if you require further assistance.

Thank you,

Post another clue
OK, here's what's at the bottom of the login page at https://www.2checkout.com - this is apparently YOUR login page.

Quote:
V2 LOGIN:
If your Seller ID is greater than 200,000, your account is in V2. Follow the link below for the correct login page :

https://www2.2checkout.com/2co/login

This directs to MY login page.
Apparently we see two different front pages when we log in via our different numbers.

Post 2CO update on Demo Mode
2CO has checked my store and confirmed that everything is live and NOT in Demo Mode. Apparently, at least if your ID number is above 200,000, Demo Mode is not the default mode - you have to actually put it in Demo Mode, and that's done from your end, not 2CO's. This should be valuable information.

So now the only question is: why when my store transfers to 2CO does the checkout show $0.00?

I can't be of any help if they have a different login page for newer accounts. My account ID is in the 7,000 series. However, just to answer the question about the link to the login page I use.

Sorry I couldn't help you.

Post thanks though
I appreciate the effort nonetheless! I did go to the front page login you specified and couldn't log in. Apparently it is just if you have an ID number below 200,000.

So to summarize:
There are two logins, one for ID's above and one for ID's below. Apparently the sticky applies to those logins below. If your ID number is above 200,000 you login at a different page and you get a front page that looks different. Apparently you don't have to worry about Demo Mode unless you actually want to be in Demo Mode. Apparently you control Demo Mode from the setting at AgoraCart only.

I discovered that having the $ specified from the AgoraCart Main Settings page was the reason I was encountering $0.00 upon checkout at 2CO. When I removed the $ specification I began getting the proper checkout info and credit card entry page.

Now I'm having another problem, but I'll start another topic for that.
Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Happy to hear all is well now.

That part is mentioned at the bottom of the sticky, however the member who posted the information failed to mention the separate login for the higher number accounts.
Thanks for posting the corrected information. I'll see if I can edit the sticky to link to this string.
