Post I am sure Its a Simple awnser ?
Hi, I have set up everything correctly I beleive..
as this is a practice run before I redesign the entire site.

How do I link from my index page to the shopping cart ?

Note this is an ad on domain.. http://www.tradingwords.com

I am just trying to link the text "shopping" to the cart ? this is an add on domain within http://www.sgwheeler.com I presume that does not matter ?

Thanks

when in doubt use the full http path. you will connect to your store from anywhere.
<a href="http://www.domain.com/store/agora.cgi"> My Store </a>

dan

should I be linking to the "my domain.." /shopping_carts/index.html ?

yes. replace "domain.com" with your domain name. replace "store" with your store directory name. if your store is in the cgi-bin throw that in there too.
the thing to do is go to your store. when the url in the address bar ends with agora.cgi (your storefront for example) then copy that address complete with http to a text file. paste it in so you don't make any mistakes. now use that to fill in links in your html.
regards,
dan
