Post Add to cart and Product images don't display
Hello - I have a cart that I'm customizing, but the default add to cart images are not displaying not to mention my product images that I have uploaded via the Edit Product interface. I'm not much of a coder - more of a hack so I'm wandering through the dark.
Any suggestions or guidance is appreciated.
Here is a link to the cart so you can see what's happening:

hell-o
hell-o to san diego. my home town!
first thing. never link to your store with the cart id included. this can cause probs depending on the issue and is a very bad habit to get into. this is a potential security risk as well. cut the cart id like this:
http://www.theb2bforum.org/cart/agora.cgi?xm=on&product=Seminars
Wink
okee dokee. try this...
log into your store manager then go to the main agoracart store settings. set the image path to...
html/images
then "self serve images" YES
save the changes then test your images. if your product images do not display then upload eith through your cpanel or ftp in binary to the
store/html/images
sub directory.
let me know if you still have probs.
btw, most ppl don't use png files as a product image. this may or may not have something to do with images not displayin after the edits above. i'm quite sure that png will render but keep it in mind. replace with any jpg for the product if the png doesn't display. if the jpg displays then reupload the png (in binary) and call that file once again. if the png file fails then it'll have to be jpg or gif.
regards,
dan

this doesn't work:

http://www.theb2bforum.org/cgi-bin/store/agora.cgi

because your store is here:

http://www.theb2bforum.org/cart/agora.cgi

grin.

your checkout doesn't work because you have the ssl url set to here:

http://www.theb2bforum.org/cgi-bin/store/agora.cgi

instead of here:

http://www.theb2bforum.org/cart/agora.cgi

if you're not going to need ssl then leave it blank in the main agoracart store settings. in the offline gateway set the ssl url to

http://www.theb2bforum.org/cart/agora.cgi

regards,
dan

I was with you when reading your reply - I went to the main setting and took out the SSL info (deal with that again later) and was suprised to see that I HAD the correct path to the cart. I submitted again.

Now when I go to my cart: http://www.theb2bforum.org/cart/agora.cgi and click on Seminars - I get a 404 error.

Also - the check out button is still looking to that cgi-bin/cart address. Where do I double check that it needs to point to another location?

Thank you for your responsive help!

Hell-o to you <grin>

I configured the offline page to go to the right URL. Yeah! Now...my complete order button works after I have gone to view cart and the complete order. When I am on the products page: http://www.theb2bforum.org/cart/agora.cgi?xm=on&product=Seminars and go to Checkout - I get a 404 error. Any ideas?

You might have the right URL in there, but it looks like there is a trailing space at the end of the URL. You need to remove the space as it is messing up the URL.

Thank goodness for this list and all your help - it's all working great except for the PGP or GPG. Need to work with my administrator on that, I think.

Thank you thank you!!
