Display category of ppinc page

Post Thank you for your reply
The ppinc pages I'm using were both edited by me.
The one that will be used for the majority of listings is the productPage.inc
The one I have for actual purchases is productPage-2a0.inc (I don't really need titles on these pages)

I was just looking for a way to let the browser know what category they are viewing at the moment. I think what I may do is do the site in frames (didn't really want to do that tho) And have the menu alink a certain colour.
This way I'll just hard link everything.

Frames are a no-no with AgoraCart, not to mention annoying to visitors.

For the category name at the top:
On the productPage.inc file look for the following line:
Code:

  $myans .= '<tr><td colspan=3><table width="100%" border=1>'."\n";

Edit it as follows:
Code:

  $myans .= '<tr><td colspan=3>%%CatergoryID%%<br><table width="100%" border=1>'."\n";

HTH!

Laughing LOL... maybe because I misspelled "category"???

Try this:
Code:

$myans .= '<tr><td colspan=3>%%CategoryID%%<br><table width="100%" border=1>'."\n";

HTH!

Post Still Not Working
BTW...see I was so stressed I didn't even realize you spelled it wrong Rolling Eyes

I came up with another plan (to avoid frames)
Since the layout of my cart is just for text really...I decided to just do Category titles as the First item in each.

Whatever works...right Smile

DeAnn,
Actually, it's not working... Something is wrong on the product pages...
When I view the source code I can see all of the agorascript-pre stuff that should have been replaced with formatted html.

When you uploaded the productPage.inc back to the cart did you make sure that it was uploaded in ASCII?

Another thing that may be interfereing is the javascript on the page. I have found that any javascript on the page that is *not* in between the head tags may cause problems in AgoraCart.
