hell-o
i'm not sure how linpoint works because all of my work with it is in test mode. try this...
run a live purchase. enter non-billing information in your form. in otherwords fill out the form at your store with a name and address that is not the name and billing address of your creditcard. submit and see if the purchase is successful. if it is successful then put a note above the form saying something to the effect "name and address where purchases will be shipped".
if it's not successful then there are fields you can add at linkpoint. create them with names like...
Shipping Name
Shipping Address
Shipping City
etc, etc. you will then have to rely on linkpoint's emails and or order log to find out details.
another thing would be to have the gateway so there is a set of information required for a seperate shipping address. this would not be passed to linkpoint but would be passed to the emails and order log.
be sure to refund yourself. it may take several hours before a refund is possible. if you can't find the refund process then call support and tell them you want the refund feature for your e-commerce account.
keep an eye out at the linkpoint forum in this FAQ forum. i will be posting a little code that will prevent ppl from being charged by linkpoint for "test" transactions. that is correct. they will charge for test transactions if "excessive" even using the 411 111... card and their admin in test mode. the test mode is for your admin settings only. not for running test transactions.
