CSS for links generated through inc files, category links?

Post CSS for links generated through inc files, category links? 
I am trying to change the style of the default blue underlined links generated through inc files and category links. These links generated through inc files could be found when you click on search or click product category. I tried adding CSS on manager.cgi and also within the page of all my html files in html folder but it didn't work. Seems like these links are generated through the main agora.cgi file. Can someone please help me change these ugly links?

Making a global change of the link color is done in the manager -> Store Layout.
For finding out how to place CSS, javascript, and meta tags take a look at the following thread:

Looking at your page, to use the CSS on your category links, you will need to add the CSS class, as follows:
Look for the following in your store_header.inc file:
Code:

  print "&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"shop.cgi?cart_id=%%cart_id%%&product=",
    "$category\"> $category2 </a><br>\n";


Change to:
Code:
  print "&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href=\"shop.cgi?cart_id=%%cart_id%%&product=",
    "$category\" class=\"menu\"> $category2 </a><br>\n";
