Post Can Links in the Category list be changed to pictures?
Is there a way to make the links in the category list picture links instead of the plain text? I am looking for more of an image map feel. Thanks!

You can hard code the links however you'd like to get the look that you want.
I don't know if there is a way to do it dynamically though.

HTH!

I am basically wanting the category links to be picture links and not text. Is this possible and if so what file would need to be changed?

Like I said, it can be done by hard coding the picture links, it would not be dynamic as it is now.
The file you would edit would be the index.html file found in the 'html' directory of the store.

HTH!

Please let me know if you can find the info on this. I am a novice at this and have been messing with it with no luck. Thanks!

I found the following link to Dan's method in my files
http://www.cartsolutions.net/public/autolink1.html

I also found the following by Bruce (bar1949)
agora2 #17554
After posting the question I finally found a way to auto-generate the
images. For those that would like to know: In the agora.cgi file,
at the bottom of the file, is the sub cartlinks routine. I modified
the following line:
Code:
$cartlinks .= "<br><a href=\"$sc_store_url?
cartlink=$clinknames&cart_id=$cart_id\"
class=\"cartlinks\">$clinkname</a>\n";

to this:
Code:
$cartlinks .= "<br><a href=\"$sc_store_url?
cartlink=$clinknames&cart_id=$cart_id\" class=\"cartlinks\"><img
src=\"%%URLofImages%%/$clinkname\.jpg\" border=\"0\"></a>\n";

Name the image file the same as the html page but remove the
underline between words, e.g. About_Us.htm and About Us.jpg will
generate the button image and link to the page without having to
hardcode the links into the page.
