Hello Family!
I decided to post this information for those who are experiencing problems with LinkPoint after setup. I have given this answer out a few times and it seems that maybe a post is called for.
If you have setup your cart with LinkPoint and are having the following problems:
1) You receive emails that do not contain what the customer has ordered or the CC information. But, you know that the CC was approved.
and
2) Your order log show no record of such transaction taking place.
If you are experiencing those two problems, then your gateway is working; it's just that you have not completed the setup.
Fisrt, let me inform you that it is not the cart. It is not LP. What the problem is that you have not entered your full store URL, (ie, http://www.mydomain.com/store/agora.cgi), in the text boxes at LP. When you setup your LP accout at your LP account setup page, you MUST enter the URL in BOTH the THANK YOU and SORRY text areas. You also MUST check the box the asked if you are using CGI script. After you do this, click to Submit.
That's it! Just that simple.
