Order missing from order log, but received by merchant acct

Post Order missing from order log, but received by merchant acct 
Please help.

My client received notice of an order from LinkPoint but when he went into his store to view the order log, there was no order. He doesn't know what product to ship.

1) Is there a way to retrieve the order? (LinkPoint doesn't have this information) Maybe from some log file?

2) Is there a reason why it did not log the order?

3) How can I fix this?

The store is www.fakefurniture.com.

First of all, to retrieve the order... you have to retrieve it within 12 hours or the cart gets deleted.... look in the 'shopping-carts' direcotry of the store and look for the cart ID that was recorded at Linkpoint. The _cart file has the contents of the customer's cart.

Now, as to why this happened... you need to make sure that everything is set up at Linkpoint:
What have got in the setting at Linkpoint? When you log in to your account click on the "Customization" link, then Click on the "Settings" link on the left, at the bottom of the list.
The store's URL should be in each of those fields AND all of the boxes checked.

Thank you for your reply.

When I go into the Shopping Cart folder of the store directory, I see a variety of files, some are just #####.######_cart and then some #######.####_COOKIES files. All files are dated with today's date and all or the _cart files are empty. ?????

I'll have my client do a look at linkpoint.

Are you available for hire to help us with this problem if I need someone to actually get into Agora cart and fix it for me?

It is a good chance that the shopping cart was deleted. By default, shopping carts that are 12 hours old are deleted, as I had mentioned above.
