Post Using AgoraCart with FrontPage or some other GUI
This is a general can it be done question. I am looking for a shopping cart to replace paypal on an existing site, and for a yet to be created sister site. Can AgoraCart be used to do something like generate HTML that can be cut and pasted into the HTML generated by something like FrontPage ? If so, can you point me to some reading on the subject ?

There is lots of info in this forum.
There is also a great tutorial at:
http://www.allisonsonline.com/training/agora.cgi

It's not exacly cut and paste into FrontPage. FrontPage is not even suggested to be used in conjuction with AgoraCart because it tends to auto-replace special characters, auto-complete html tags that should not be. It also tends to include extraneous code that is really not necessary. Also, using any proprietary features (FPhover, etc..) is not necessarily compatible with all browsers. You'll want to make sure you read chapter 4 of the tutorial.

You, generally, will create a design template in perhaps Frontpage or Dreamweaver and then split that design apart into headers & footers which would make up the store's layout design. There is info on doing that in the "Headers and footers" section of this forum.

There is lots and lots of resources on working with AgoraCart. AgoraCart is an extremely flexible shopping cart system.

HTH!
