I am as most people here at these forums new to agora cart.

I want to add the cart into an existing site. First thing is I upload a page and images to the html site and when I click the link there are no pictures of the site just text. That is just for starters. I am going to have issues if I can't even view the site before and anything is added.

Where am I suppose to upload my exisiting site in order to view all pages and pictures. Not pictures of the products - just pictures in general.

I installed the agora and went to my clients page and just grabbed a page and uploaded to my server for testing. I added the images folder and index.html in the HTML folder. So essentially I replaced the index.html that was there.

Next question

In order for this Agora cart to work is a Header and Footer needed. I am assuming that it is correct?

I have gone through the tutorials and I am still not entirely sure how all this works.

http://www.aerolight.com/store/agora.cgi is the look I am going for for my client and am using this as guide. Is the first page only referencing links to the product pages and then when a product is selected it takes you to the actual shopping cart? Please take a look and let me know.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you

You don't put your site into AgoraCart... You link your site to AgoraCart.
To give Agora the same look as the rest of your site you need to customize the headers and footers. The following thread should help you with that:

Now, there is some info that cannot be in the header. That you be the following tags:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
<title></title>
<meta tags>
<style></style>
<script></script>
</head>
<body>

For proper placement of this information, please review the following thread:

Make sure that you log in to the store's manager at:
http://www.dsdtestinggrounds.com/shop/protected/manager.cgi

You need to set up as much as you can in there, first. It looks like you might have the URL to images inncorrect in the manager.

his index.html is at the root and seen in the link above. There seems to be a more then just customizing the headers and footers. I can see the headers and footers for the product pages When you click on a product), but how are the images etc on the main page showing up and with all that information Left, Body, Right. The default agora shopping cart page only shows the body not anything in the left and right columns. Make Sense?!?

When you click on a product it goes to the product page. If I am using one main page then agora.cgi/index.html then how come all the pages from the link above dont all have left and right columns or is it because it is a static page?

Are all images for the whole website including products suppose to be here?
Please enter the full URL of your /images directory. For example:

The URL that should be in the manager for the images should just be:
Code:
html/images


The store's front page is the index.html file found in the 'html' directory of the store.
If you take a lok at that file you will see %%StoreHeader%% and %%StoreFooter%% in there.
These "tokens" tell he script to put the info from the store_header.inc & store_footer.inc files into the file when it is parsed by agora.cgi.
