Post Getting count of item in one product category??
Hi,
I'm trying to create a submenu on the pages that show detailed product description, that allows you to click to the next item in the group. That works fine through $product_id - but only until the last item of a category (and if the product_id's are all in order...) after that it continues into the next category.
So I was wondering how can I retrieve information about the amount of products in one category and get each product id?
Are there any functions similiar to "&get_prod_db_category_list" that get me the needed information - so that I can run something like
foreach (@product_in_my_category)
{
<a href=\"agora.cgi?cart_id=&p_id=$next_prod_id\">%%name%%</a>";
}

Any help is greatly appreciated - I'm fairly Perl-savvy - so if you can point me to the right perl-script or perl-function that would be great.
Thank you for your help.

Hi,
I'm taking it you are talking about the productPage.inc form.
Take a look at the special productPage-agorascript_example.inc form in the same directory, I think this is the type of thing you are aiming towards. You will just need to alter the agorascript coding to end up with the results you want......
Obviously if I'm way off track, get back to us.
Regards.
Glen.
