Hi,
Can I display multiple pictures for 1 product or am I stuck with 1 for 1?

You can.
The manager already has a user field specified as a 2nd image field. you can use the other user fields for images, as well.
Then you would edit the productPage.inc file to incorporate the user fields that contain those extra images.
