In an attempt to change my admin password (version 40) I downloaded pass.zip to my pc
(agora installed in "/shop/" folder)
copied manager.cgi from /shop/protected/ to my pc before following instructions from pass.zip
followed instructions from pass.zip (printed below) / could logon / had no PASSWORD EDITOR button in PROGRAM SETTINGS
removed /misc/ directory and password_editor-ext_lib.pl from shop/protected/
copied original manager.cgi from pc to shop/protected/
attempted to logon

I can put username and pw in first popup window, but I get INTERNAL ERROR 500 on the next page instead of the 2nd logon screen as before

Now I am clueless!

INSTRUCTIONS FROM pass.zip:
"README for Basic Password Editor

current libraries available for versions 4.0 and 4.0K. These may work on other versions, but
use at your own risk. This package includes libraries for both versions. Version 4.0 is indicated
with a 40 at the end of each file. Upload those files and then rename each file without the 40
on the end.

These libraries are copyright 2003 by Edward Mayo at K-Factor Technologies, Inc.

INSTALLATION:

1) For version 4.0, Create directory called: misc in protected directory. Chmod "misc" to 755.
For Version 4.0K, skip this step as the directory already exists.

2) Upload (in ASCII mode) mgr_pass.pl into protected/misc sub directory.

3) For Version 4.0, Upload (in ASCII mode) manager.cgi40 to the protected sub directory. rename it to: manager.cgi
For version 4.0K, Upload (in ASCII mode) manager.cgi to the protected sub directory.
chmod it to 755.

4) Upload (in ASCII mode) password_editor-ext_lib.pl to the protected sub directory.

5) Login to your store manager, go to the program settings area, then select the Password Editor. Fill it in
as needed. Changes will take effect next time you login or when ever a new user tries to login."

Make sure that the permissions for manager.cgi are set to 755.
