Post Need help editing ppinc files
Please help - I am relatively new to coding and trying to figure out how to properly use the ppinc files... after searching for awhile i figured out how to get the site use the different ppinc layout (4a) but now I'm having trouble with the design of it... two things rally... making it so thumbs show instead of the full size pics and adding in the product name..
thanks
mike

In reviewing your site, I came across some links to the store,
that were on pages outside of the store, that have the cart-id info in them.
This cart_id info MUST be removed as it poses a security risk
and everyone that clicks on that link will all have the SAME cart,
not a good thing...

Do you have the thumbnail in the '2nd image' field?
If so, in your productPage-4a.inc file change the %%image%% token
to be %%userFieldOne%%

Now for the name, where ever you want the name to appear, put %%name%%

HTH!

It looks like the file may not have been uploaded in ASCII mode, since I can see all of the agorascript from the productPage in the source code of the page.

As for the image, I think you only have the image name in the field???
If so, put the following in front of the image file name in the 2nd image field:
%%IMG%%

HTH!

Post Yeah!
I was able to fix the images! thanks. Now I'm really going to sound green.... how do I upload in ASCII format. I have been doing all of my uploading/downloading of files using the FTP, and just drag/drop into the windows...

Don't use the FTP stuff in cpanel.
Get yourself a good FTP client. I like to use FileZilla and it's free.
I have it listed on a resources page at:
http://resources.scottcrew.com/soft.htm

Good FTP clients allow you to set the transfer mode. FileZilla already have the most common file types already set up to transfer in ASCII mode.

HTH!

Thanks for the advice with the FTP, filezilla worked great.... I now have another question.
after clicking on the more info link on 4a it takes you to search2 for the layout. is it possible to right align my part numbers that are in bold at the end of the 'dscription' with out right aligning the whole descrition?

http://www.sicassracing.com/shoppingcart/agora.cgi?&p_id=11-010&xm=on&ppinc=search2

thanks again for all the help, i think i'm starting to catch on!

Yep, but there isn't a <align> tag...
You need to put your align into either a <div align="right"></div> or in <p align="right"></p>

i also see that you are trying to use a font called 'Broadway'. This is not a standard font available or installed on most computers, so the majority of your customers will never see that font style... you will need to include alternative fonts.
IE: Arial, verdana, georgia, times new roman, serif, sans serif

HTH!
