Alright, I'll start with my FedEx question as it will be the easiest to answer. I know that there is no working FedEx module for non-paying users, but reading the forums I have heard various things for those who -do- pay. I've mostly heard that -nobody- has a working module, but I've also heard that with the bundle there is... that the module has been completed.

Now, I've just come to work for a small company who previously used Interchange -- I'll be honest, I preferred Interchange's interface. It seemed easier for me to customize. Anyhow, I moved to agoracart as there were many problems running Interchange on their server, and AgoraCart was extremely easy (thanks to CPanel). Anyhow, that isn't what I wanted to get at. My problem is that this company ONLY uses FedEx! Their business has been down for almost a month, because nobody had done anything to help them until I was hired a few days ago. I'm entering products 1-by-1 at the moment but if there's no way to deal with FedEx costs that somebody can help me with, this isn't very viable...

So, is there any working fedex module? All that is needed is fedex ground...

I *may* convince them to use UPS if there's no way I can calculate FedEx shipping. No matter what though, there are certain products which they sell that due to size or weight cannot be shipped regularly. Some "products" are actually packages with multiple boxes - again, shipping can't be calculated based only on the sum of their weight.

Is there a way that I can check if a certain product is ordered, and force manual payment so that they must call to complete the order, thus allowing us to correctly calculate their shipping costs?

Last question, I swear. I thought of this while I was rambling on in my 2nd paragraph. Is there any way that I can change the product entry/editing pages? I'd like to change user2-user5 fields to say something meaningful (SKU, Retail, etc)... I haven't been able to figure out what I need to edit to do this. This would help them in the future with data entry...

ANY help is greatly appreciated. I need to get their business rolling again but I've never used AgoraCart, and I don't know perl -- only PHP. I can learn, of course.

No, there is not a working FedEx module available to any type of member or non-member.

Not that I know of, but, you can put in the description or as an option file, so it follows the product through the checkout process, a note about the shipping situation. Also, depending on thE particular product and situation, additional shipping can be assigned for "case" quantities.

You could, but it would require editing manager file that handles the product add/edit screen. all of the manager files are in the 'protected' directory.
On a side note, version 5, when it comes out, does have a way to change the user field labels through a module in the manager.
