Accessing store directly with domain name

Hi, I have managed to finally install AgoraCart (took me two weeks so you can probably guess this is all new to me). To access my store I type in my domain name in my browser - www.faydesigns.net but then get an error message and have to click in the 'store52' link to get into the store itself. Is there any way my customers can get directly to my store by typing www.faydesigns.net into their browser? If not is there any way I can make to link into my store look more attractive and user friendly. I tested it on a number of friends and when most of them didnt get into the store directly by entering the domain name in their browsers they exited - they didnt even realise that they had to click on the 'store52' link to enter.

Help would really be appreciated on this one.

Create a home page on your site that shows a few of your products or an intro about your company & products including links to lead your customers into your store.
