Post Umm - created db, added a product, where is it to see?
Hi:
I've created a database thru the store manager (it wanted to start at #11 which I let it) -- and now I'm wondering 'what does it look like' ... I want to see my product page but what do I use to reference the product page. I looked at the site files to see if there was any obvious new pages, but if there are, I can't identify them.

So, when product(s) are in the database, how do I tell the website (shop) that they are there. I haven't worried about customising the store layout - I just want to see what the default layout looks like -- but as stated, I don't know where to look ...

Thanks for all your patience ...
regards

Post Is it ...?
www.pelage.co.nz/shop

or www.pelage.co.nz/shop/protected/ (which is where the manager.cgi) file is found.

Liz,
You can view products by linking to a product category or a specific p_id.
IE: Linking by category:
http://www.pelage.co.nz/shop/agora.cgi?xm=on&product=Latino

By p_id:
http://www.pelage.co.nz/shop/agora.cgi?xm=on&p_id=00011

HTH!

Post So how do I get this to show up in my shop?
If you look at http://www.pelage.co.nz/sale-items.htm --- see the 'Latino' option
For a 'link' there would I put in http://www.pelage.co.nz/shop/agora.cgi?xm=on&product=Latino
(IF there were 3 products in that type of category, they'd show up there?)

So product=blahblah could be in my shop gingham blankets, childrens waffle blankets etc ... (assuming no spaces)

Thanks again for your patience -- but I'm working at 'getting' it ...
regards
Liz
