Post Add one product in two / three categories
Hi,

I need to add one product to 2 or 3 categories and wanted to find-out if there was an easier way other than re-entering the whole product information. I know that I can call the same option file ...but will have to fill-out the "add product" section for each product.

Basically, the visitor is given the option of shopping by Manufactures Name OR Shopping by type of product.

If shopping by Manufacturer's Name is chosen, then regardless of type of product... all products manufactured by the particular Manufacturer would be displaed.
The same would happen if Shop by "type" is chosen .... regardless of manufacturer. all of the same time of products would appear.
Some products might be in more than 2 categories.

This is what I am trying to accomplish....
Any help would really be appreciated.

Thank you and God Bless
Clarence

Clarence,
User the user fields to put your type and manufacturer name in.
Then pull them up based on the user field.
IE:
http://www.domain.com/store/agora.cgi?user2=manufacturer_name

HTH!

I would like to apply this also, can you elaborate more on how to use the userfield with the category?
