Post Wierd Auto-Fill Issue on Order Confirmation Email
A few months back we set up an Agora shopping cart. It seem like everything was working fine until we found one little issue. . .

When a client goes to place and order, we receive an email with their info. In that email under the Billing Info AND Shipping Info are two different names - one the person buying the flowers and the other the person receiving them. We have been noticing that the LAST NAME on the Billing info is automatically populating at the end of the Shipping info name. Like this (see in BOLD):

BILLING INFORMATION --------------

NAME: Thomas Winn
ADDRESS: ------
CITY: Folsom
STATE: CA
ZIP: 95630
PHONE: xxxx
EMAIL: xxxx

SHIPPING INFORMATION --------------

SHIP VIA: Local Delivery
NAME: Angela Chanter Winn
ADDRESS: xxx
CITY: Roseville
STATE: CA
ZIP: 95661
PHONE NUMBER: xxx
DELIVERY DATE: 3/7/07
PREFERRED DELIVERY TIME: 12:30pmySPECIAL NOTES: Angela:Congratulations on your brand new bundles of joy. May every moment be blessed with love and happiness. All the Best, Tom & Nadine Winn
ORDER NOTES -------------------

The shipping person should be "Angela Chanter", not "Angela Chanter Winn".

Can anybody direct us where to fix this problem? And we do not want to upload a brand new file and erase all the work we did, just need some direction on where to attack this problem. Preferabbly what string we should be looking at.

All your help is greatly appreciated!

What is the URL to the store?
What version of the cart are you using?
What gateway(s) are you using?

Remove the following from the header & footer files:
Code:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-us">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
<title>Fresh Flower Arrangements</title>
</head>

The reason why you are getting the double name is because you don't have "Last Name" field for the recipient... The script automatically uses the last name from the billing if the last name for the shipping is not entered... You MUST put back in the field for the Shipping Last Name....

HTH!

Post Makes total sense
Which script are we talking about - the "Offline-orderform.html" or a .nic file? I see a "Recipient's Name:" field in Offline-orderform.html with VALUE="$eform_Ecom_ShipTo_Postal_Name_First".

I assume if I change it slightly to . . . .Postal_Name_Last that will fix it. Very Happy
