Post Remove the Quantity Option
Ok, I'm really really new to this. I'm starting to figure some of this stuff out, but I'm stuck on this problem. I need to remove the quantity or somehow "lock" it so that it can't be changed, but still allow the item to be added to the cart. Is there a way to do this or do I just need to put an explination in the product description letting the customer they can't purchase more than one?

you'll wanna open up the product pgae you are using and edit by doing the following....

remove this token
Code:
QtyBox%%
and replace it with the following
Code:
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="%%itemID%%" VALUE="1">

that'll take away the quantity box and lock the value to 1....

best of luck!!!

ya i know. no foul. i have a sense of humor. just kinda hard to joke around because some ppl may take it wrong. that's just the way it is in forums and chatrooms and whatever. nothing to reference like tone of voice, body language and expressions.
anyways, tease me all ya want. but count your fingers when you pull back that bloody stump heh heh.
have phun. maddness is easier that way.

Post Automatic Product Removal
Hello Guys,

Just had the same problem with quantity so that's solved now thx to these posts!
I have a further question which is related but i'm not sure if this is the right area but I'll ask anyway..

Im setting up a vintage clothing store where there is only 1 of each product and I was wondering if there is a way to automatically remove an item once it has been purchased. I vaguely remember seeing something mentioned abut this in the past and the use of an 'in stock' file or something but I can't find the post!!

Can you help?

Dan Wheeler,
Email Mister Ed about upgrading from the annual to the Premier. He will probably allow you to upgrade to Premier less the fee you've already paid for the annual.
mister.ed at agoracart.com (of course in proper email format)

HTH!
