Post Inserting into an existing html setup
Is there a way to insert the coding for the cart into an existing <div> tag of my current site?

I have seen it done using <iframe></iframe> and calling the page that you want...

so in this case i would set up the cart page without any superfoulus info , basically making it a blank page with the table data in it... sorry, have yet to actually make the cart page and am just trying to feel out my limitations...

There are very little limitations to AgoraCart.
For most situations, there are workarounds.
For a free shopping cart, Agora is the best and most customizable.

I was wondering about this as well...

The <iframe> thing wouldn't really work for what I'm asking aobut, though. I actually want to integrate my html layout into the agora cart software. Is there an easy code that I could just add to the content area of my current layout and get it to work?

This is a hard question to ask, and I'm sure it's hard to understand. Basically, say I have a layout...

Well, let me show you what I mean.

This was a website I created for a client. The homepage has "cutenews" software on it, inserted into the "content" area of the page with a simple <?php include> script.

See what I mean?

I know exactly what you are talking about.
You will need to create custom headers and footers for the store.
Make sure that you have a latest version of AgoraCart installed, v5.2.
Review the following thread for info on working with headers and footers:
