First let me say that i am totally impressed with this software package that i just happened upon. I am not a programmer, but was able to have a test shopping cart up and running on my site in a matter of half a day. That is impressive! Although the package seems to be geared towards web developers and programmers and not necessarily business owners, i feel that just about anyone can get a quality shopping cart running in no time.

I am also impressed with the forum support that is available for the product. I have been able to get everything going (except the shipping module) very quickly with the help of the messages left on the forums. Lastly, i can't believe the price is so cheap! Who can possibly complain about that?

I was so impressed with the package that i went ahead and signed up for the Gold membership package--the price is is awesome!

Now for my problem: I cant seem to get the shipping modules working with the exception of FedEx? Both USPS and UPS send me a "UPS(or USPS) module error: shipping cost not determined!" I have tried just about every possible configuration possible in the management settings all to no avail. I registered with USPS and they gave me a user id and a test server to use (http://testing.shippingapis.com/ShippingAPITest.dll) which i entered in the shipping manager module--no luck.

I am missing something (management very obvious) but just can see it. It is driving me a little batty.

my settings are:

Allow Shipments via which services?
(selecting yes or no on a shipping method does not change shipping options on order forms)

USPS: yes UPS (non-XML): yes
How do you wish to connect to UPS (non-XML) / USPS XML? If perl is installed in a fairly modern way, then the LWP library should be present. If not, then the http-lib has been included here as a backup. Note: UPS (non-XML) works only on http-lib. USPS XML works on both. http-lib

USPS ORIGIN ZIP: 85748

I haven't received my Gold Membership confirmation yet so i don't have any of the updates it provides yet.

For USPS, DO NOT USE THE TESTING URL...
Ask USPS to be put directly on the production URL... Agora has been tested for years on thousands of shopping carts and is totally ready for the production URL...
Not to mention the testing URL doesn't work since Agora is already set for the production URL...

As for UPS... What are the rest of your setting for UPS?
Who is your web host? If it is ipower.com, ipowerweb.com, or startlogic.com, you MUST use LWP.
If not those, who is the host?

Also, what is the URL for your store so we can test out the UPS module?
BTW, FEDEX is not an available shipping module for AgoraCart, as of yet...
