Post "Submit" and "Make Changes" buttons not
Okay, so my tech teacher and I are coding a shopping cart for his brother's business; we've got everything working (apparently) except these meager two graphics... I've rummaged around the cart manager in hopes of changing the fractional (and seemingly dynamic) link to a complete, direct, static link, but to no avail... I've read the other topic concerning the matter, but I don't think the answer to our problem was there. We'd greatly appreciate some help with this, thanks.
Our store is here:

Make sure that picserve.cgi permissions are set to 755.

"picserve.cgi"...? I don't recognize this file... How can I access it?

You need to FTP into the server and find the picserve.cgi file, it is in the same directory as the agora.cgi.
Use the FTP client to chmod or set the permissions of the file to 755.
I have been seeing where some web hosts just change the permissions on your files without even telling you... You don't know anything's wrong until you try to use it and it doesn't work...

HTH!

Okay, the ftp, thought thats where it might be, but I don't have access to it so I couldn't check (summer vacation has its ups and downs Rolling Eyes ). I'll call my teacher up tomorrow and have him take a look at it; hopefully, this is the problem and it isn't something completely bizarre...

You don't have FTP????

Oh, BTW, Your store URL is incorrect..
It is breaking the "2 dot rule".
The store URL should be:
http://www.qualitypoultryandseafood.com/scgi-bin/store52/agora.cgi

If you will be using the Offline gateway and collect credit card information the store MUST use an SSL URL through the checkout process.

HTH!

Well, personally... no. Never really had to use an ftp so I never got one... but I had my teacher check on that and it fixed the button problem. I'll get to fixing that "2 dot rule" thing too...

But anyway, thanks a lot. We couldn't have done it without you. Wink

Oh and rather than starting a new topic... To remove all the manager text off the store (like the "Linking to Your Store" and "Editing the Look of Your Store")... how would I go about doing that. I'm sure it's one of the files already in the ftp somewhere but what would the name be? It doesn't look like I can edit it from the system manager, and my teacher isn't very good with code, so he could have some trouble finding it on his own.

It is the index.html file in the store's 'html' directory.

Next time, please do start a new thread... It helps others that come after you as subjects will be organized so that new people can more easily find answers to their questions.
Thanks!

Thanks for the tip on the Permissions Scottcrew. This same issue was driving me nuts. The picserve.cgi permissions should have been set to 755 back when I first set everything up, but after reading this post I went back and checked, only to find they were set to 644 somehow Shocked

You just saved me some grief. I'm going to have to keep a look out for other permission changes.

I've been noticing some of the hosts reset the permissions on that file... weird...
