Well... I REALLY wanted to use agoracart... but it's looking more and more like I will not be able to. I have met every guideline for the site I'm working on, except for one...
The main content needs to scroll, so that the nav and header are always in view. The only way I know how to accomplish this is using frames... an IFRAME in this case. Sadly, after trying an iframe and pondering the logic involved... it doesn't look as though it's going to be possible. The footer files get lost or partially lost, or main content is sacraficed. I mean, I see WHY this is happening, and i really don't see a solution... I've tried pasting different pieces of code inside the iframe from the header/footer... something always gets lost.
I've tried offering alternatives to a scrollbar... such as multiple short pages for one product category and a subfolder tree listed at the top with a 'Return to Top' button at the bottom... my boss can't be budged.
Is there any other way of creating a scrollbar for the center content without using IFRAMEs? Does anyone have any ideas?
This frustrates me... I was so close to completion!
