Post Shipping Logic 
Hello,
I am trying to figure out the code for custom shipping logic on shopping cart v. 5.2 using standard shipping, ups, and usps. I need the custom shipping logic to calculate by weight.
I have read several posts on this subject and I still cant seem to make it work.
I also need to have it calculate a flate rate handling fee of $2.50.

I have the cart manager set to

calculate flate rate handling fee $2.50

In what loop of calculate_final_values do you wish to calculate the shipping? 3

use custom shipping logic? yes

When to run custom shipping logic? before

If using Custom Logic, is shipping measured by weight? yes

Use the Live/Real-Time SBW (Ship By Weight for UPS/USPS) module? yes

Allow Shipments via which services? yes on UPS and USPS

How do you wish to connect to UPS (non-XML) / USPS XML? http-lib

USPS Parcel Post? yes
USPS Priority Mail? yes
USPS Priority Mail International 6-10 days:yes
USPS Priority Mail International 3-5 days: yes
UPS Ground Residential:yes
Adjust UPS rates up or down from the quote?yes 1.04 percent


I know my way around cgi a little.

Not quite following you...
If you want to use USPS & UPS, the API's are already available in the manager and you do not need Custom Shipping Logic...
To use USPS, you need to register with USPS and get a username to use their Web Tools.
