Post Table size - oh why is this so hard?
It's embarrassing. This should be easy. I worked with an earlier version of Agora and could figure it out just fine but this time I am stumped.

All I want to do is to make the side table (cart links and featured product) a tad wider and the product table subsequently a little smaller.

TIA!

Okay I'm a dork. I was looking at it in Firefox but it seems to be okay in IE. However that is not quite what I want. It's still not off in FF.

You need to edit the store_header.html & secure_store_header.html files to increase the size of those <td>'s.
Also, I am seeing that your productPage.inc file was either not downloaded or uploaded in ASCII mode.
That needs to be fixed...

HTH!

set the widths you want in the store header and footer tables. be sure not to over look the css file(s).
set the content area (product display and etc) width in the agorastyles.css - .ac_product_table then fine tune setting widths in all ppinc (productPage.inc) files you use.
for development purposes, sometimes it's eaier to be able to see what tables have influnce where on the browser. add table borders temporarily to selected tables so you can monitor changes. make width changes one at a time. note that due to css controls some table borders will not show up. also, if your tables are messed up you may not see boders.

when using tables and extensive css file(s) it's best to set all the widths for tables and cells in the main css file. if you don't then you're going back and forth not knowing where this cell or table or that table or cell width is located and can get a challenge when trying to accomplish technical stuff or troubleshoot. especially when doing xbrowser compliance.
also, when changing design widths you must consider the whole picture. if you change a column width, for example, it's likely you're going to push the rest off the screen or squeeze content in another column or blow up column span layout.
good luck
