Picture not showing up in cart display

My cart picture column currently shows up blank. It worked with the sample items but with my real products it does not work

You have to have a small image in the same field that the sample store did, which is user field 3. It also must be set up as it was in the sample database.
Did you change anything in the manager's cart display area?

No I did not change the cart display at all. Where is the file located for the cart display?

Cart Display is handled in the manager.

Actually, in my sample database the image was set up as userFieldOne.

Make sure you enter the second image name as

%%IMG%%imagefilename.gif

This is required to actually make it display.

It would be cool if someone could figure out a way to modify the display cart file to include Title="%%name%%" Alt="%%name%%" in the link. Good for search engines. AgoraCart should update with this functionality. Its almost 2005.

actually it's more complicated than you tink. the best way to do alts would be a form on upload and the alt description/theme would have an input into a new field in the dB. which means if you have 1000 pics you need to uplaod each and every one as you would through manager or cpanel by hand and by name (or directly into the dB through editing). doesn't sound like fun to me. grin
i suppose with the rewrite hack it may pay now to SEO the dB store. but just for product images. all the rest (except in a few cases which the alt can usually be inserted through an image link) wont amount to a hill of beans. the real SEO challange will be the title tags for links. probably be another entry form to fill out with another dB field.

No, I don't think it's that complicated. Actually, I already figured our a brute force solution to it that I decided not to implement because I was too lazy and didn't want to do this for EVERY single category in the database.

You can do this very easily in ONE entry in the database by replacing userFieldOne which is right now:

%%IMG%%imagename.gif

with

<img src="./images/imagename.gif" Alt="Product Name" Title="Product Name">

Unfortunately,

<img src="./images/imagename.gif" Alt="%%name%%" Title="%%name%%">

Does not work. The trick would be to make this work.
